Dana Camp

Dana Camp

Founder

Dana has spent 11 years performing IT services. The last six years have been spent building the BITS business. His computer hobby started long before being of working age and his early employment experience working for Staples stores. Dana attended Southern Connecticut State University, where he graduated with Honors and a mathematics degree. While at Southern, he was employed by the University IT department for a variety of student-supported roles. Prior to starting BITS, Dana also worked as a freelance IT technician for several professionals and firms. These contacts became BITS' first customers.

Partner 

Rick has been a BITS business partner since the company was founded. Running his own marketing firm, Krative, LLC, Rick is a digital media expert and a certified electronic publisher. Since their two companies were founded, Rick has worked together with Dana acting as a ‘man behind the curtain’, helping to make everything here at BITS run as smoothly as possible. Additionally, Rick often serves as an in-house advisor to our BITS team.

 

Tim PierpontTim Pierpont

First Response Technician 

Tim has been working with computers and technology for over five years. He has an Associates degree in computer science, with a certification in Network Administration. He has quickly become a specialist in working with servers and networked environments. Tim carries a strong passion for development and implementation of IT solutions. His current role within our team is as our first response technician. When you call into our office you can be confident that you will get to speak to one of our highly knowledgeable specialists such as Tim.

Joe BabisJoe Babis

Senior Technician 

Joe has come to BITS with over ten years of experience in customer service and IT knowledge. He has worked at Southern Connecticut State University diagnosing, repairing and installing systems, devices and software. Joe's expertise is working one on one with client's to solve various hardware and software issues.

 

 

 

How it all began

In June 2006 BITS was founded by two computer enthusiasts from Wallingford, CT. Mr. Camp has assisted businesses and homeowners as a freelance technician since 2001. Mr. Callahan, a digital media expert, concentrates staying on top of Internet and computing trends. Together, the firm concentrates on granting businesses and professionals an upper hand in a marketplace of ever growing dependence on technology and the Internet. In the first year, the company gained the business of 100 residential and small business clients. Our business clients now include law firms, hair salons, manufactures, distributors, and retailers. BITS has also earned a strong reputation in the dental community with over 25 practices presently receiving BITS services.
